Free breakfast and lunch will be provided at ALL
Summer School Sites.

 

The Clint ISD Summer School Program will be accessible to students who have been selected to attend by their respective school.

Please contact your child’s campus for additional guidance.

Accelerated Instruction Programs: 

  1. 8th Grade SSI – Reading and Math 

  1. EOC Remediation – English I, II, Alg I, Bio and U.S. History 

  • STAAR Testing June 19 -23, 2017* 

  • Dates: June 5, 2017 – June 22, 2017 (Monday through Thursday) 

  • Times: 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

  • Campuses: Horizon Middle School, Clint High School, East Montana Middle School 

 

*Students will not attend summer school after their STAAR exam is administered 

Credit Recovery Program: 

  1. High School Credit Recovery Program  

  • Dates: June 5 – August 4, 2017 (Monday through Thursday) 

  • Times: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

  • Campuses: Horizon Middle School, Clint High School, East Montana Middle School 

 

Dual Credit Program: 

  1. Education 1300 Dual Credit Program  

  • Dates: May 30 –  June 30, 2017 (Monday through Thursday) 

  • Times: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. 

  • Campuses: Horizon Middle School, Clint High School, East Montana Middle School 

 

STEAM Camp for Girls: 

  1. Summer (STEAM) Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics Camp 

  • Middle School STEAM Camp for Girls 

  • Dates: June 12 –  June 15, 2017 (Monday through Thursday)

TAPS Program:

  1.  TAPS Program is a 9 week program for our High School students needing to regain credit in Partnership with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department 

  • Secondary Students in need of support for credit recovery  

  • Dates: June 5 –  August 4, 2017 

  • 8:00 a.m. -12:00 In Credit recovery Lab with Certified Teacher (District to fund) 

  • 12:30-4:00 Students are provided with presentations and Fieldtrips by the Sheriff’s Dept. (SROs)
