More than 144 Clint ISD young scientists qualified to represent the Clint Independent School District during the 2017 Sun Country Regional Science and Engineering Fair held on March 4th at Pebble Hills High School.

This year Clint ISD high school students presented 55 projects and middle school students presented 47 projects at the regional competition. The young scientists spent the day displaying and presenting their research efforts to other scientists, engineers, professors and doctors. The project categories ranged from animal sciences to physics and astronomy.

Thirty five Clint ISD students received awards or were recognized for their projects at the Sun Country. Six students received special awards, sixteen received honorable mention, and sixteen students will be representing Clint ISD at the ExxonMobil State Science Fair in San Antonio, Texas on April 1, 2017 at the Henry B.
