Two Clint ISD Destination Imagination teams are heading for state competition. Both W.D. Surratt Elementary and Red Sands Elementary placed first at the regional competition on February 25, 2017 at Eastlake HS. These schools have qualified for the state competition and will represent the District on April 7th and 8th in Lubbock, Texas.
Thirteen teams from Clint ISD schools competed in the regional competition where over 100 teams from the area competed in various team and individual challenges.
“All of these teams worked very hard to prepare for this competition. We are extremely proud of these teams as they have achieved great success,” said Kelsey Anderson, Red Sands Elementary Destination Imagination Coach.
